Bleeding P/V was profuse that she was urgently referred from RH & CHC, Ghoghamba. Bleeding started at 08:00 PM.
On Admission: T – Raised, P - 150/min, RR – 40/ min, BP – 80/40 mm Hg
Patient was in shock on admission.On examination already there was IUFD. Patient immediately taken in the OT.
Patient attended immediately by Dr Bhakti Gor, Gynaecologist Class I, DH Godhra. Also one senior Gynaecologist from Private setup – Dr Shujaat Vali, Lara Mother Healthcare & IVF Centre was called for help, he also immediately helped in OT during LSCS.
One more Gynaecologist, Dr Mayur Desai from Private Hospital was kept standby in OT for help.
Anaesthetist was immediately called for.Due to APH Hb was 7 G% & patient was in Hypovolemic shock. Blood was needed urgently. Dr S G Jain, Chief District Health Officer was given a phone call. He immediately arranged the Blood with Health team. 4 Units of B Positive Blood were given to her during OT. Intraoperative Findings: A big Posterior irreparable rupture uterus was seen.
After rupture of the uterus, baby & placenta were in the abdominal cavity. Immediately Obstetrics Hysterectomy was done for survival of the patient.
OT team from DH, Godhra helped for the benefit of the patient. Patient was treated successfully. Came out of the OT.2nd Post op day patient is well & fully conscious & progressing well. Dr Jayanti S. Ravi, Commissioner of Health, Dr Gaurav Dahiya, MD NHM, Dr Prakash Vaghela, AD FW, Dr N B Dholakiya, AD MS, Dr M D Sukhanandi, DD MH & Dr Kartik R. Shah, State Nodal Officer for LaQshya appreciated the efforts of TEAM GODHRA as if the patient could have been referred, she could have died on way. Kudos to team Godhra for their wellplanned & immediate intervention. Being a LaQshya assessed facility, they have more enthusiasm & clinical ability for helping the needy women in rural & tribal area of Gujarat.
